A Thankful Praise
Our God, You deserve praise,
To You our hands we raise;
As our promises to You,
For to be keeping them true.
Your promises onto us,
Have been precisely thus;
For You always answer prayer,
In anything that we share.
Those wicked sins get us down,
But not as a thorny crown;
For You forgive our flaw,
That caused us to break your Law.
And all because of Your Son,
Fight over sin has been won;
Giving a new lease on life,
And for coping with the strife.
That is why we praise Your name,
And the Gospel we proclaim;
In this life we could not cope,
Without having faith and hope.
