The Tongue
Are any of you wise?
Or your words filled with lies;
Heed what comes from the lung,
Off the tip of your tongue.
It is better to start,
With your words from the heart;
That was placed by the Lord,
Not from a two-edge sword.
The tongue is like a spark,
Be controlled by the dark;
Rather that through the light,
Giving wisdom and insight.
His wisdom is filled with love,
And shining from above;
God is willing to share,
Since He really does care.
So next time when you speak,
Go to your heart to seek;
So you will not regret,
Something causing a debt.
