Advice to Young People
Listen closely to what I teach,
And heed the advice I beseech;
Stop thinking a lot of nonsense,
And start learning some common sense.
Use my advice not turn away,
Not for living just for today;
You have a future to unfold,
So stop acting brazen and bold.
If you follow what you are taught,
You shall find it all that is sought;
Just keep my teaching in your mind,
And what was hidden you shall find.
Never reject wisdom given,
It is sent from God in Heaven;
Using wisely through out each day,
Helps keep you from trying to stray.
If you love wisdom don't reject,
For it is there to help protect;
Renewed when remembering God,
As long as you honor and laud.
