LIVING IN HOPE






~^~LIVING IN HOPE~^~






         

My heart cries silently in my chest
The hurt I feel can find no rest,
I`ve been hurt so much in the past
A lifetime I`m sure the pain will last.



I try to be happy each new day
Yet these emotions will have their way,
They raise their head and cause me such pain
So in my heart it will rain again.

    

I pray it will rain less each new day
Then maybe my pain will go away,
Maybe tomorrow will be the day
The sun will shine and keep the rain at bay.
