In the Prose of Passion

Better Luck Next Time

(As many who know me I love to add a little humor. This is supposed to be just for fun. No meaning to it or nothing about a past experiance. It is just something I threw together. I guess this can be a Country Lyric.)
Better Luck Next Time

Cruising down the boulevard
Another Friday night
Driving in my cruiser
Not looking for a fight
Looking for some action
I'm fishing in the sea
Came upon a Honda
This gal she smiled at me

She said
“Won't you pull on over
I have some treats for you
If you like to party
I'll show you what to do”
She walked into the nightclub
A swagger to her hips
I couldn't wait to taste those
Luscious rosy lips

While listening to the music
I whispered in her ear
This place is way too crowded
Let's get on out of here

She said,
“Better luck next time
But I am not the one
I don't want no boyfriend
I just want to have my fun
You need to look on elsewhere
This gal loves livin free
Better luck next time
Cause baby it's not me”

Now what was she thinking
What did she think I meant
I don't want a girlfriend
Those days have come and went
I just want a good time
I want no strings attached
That is when I told her
Her face my butt they matched

Now that is when it happened
She hit me with her fist
Boy was this gal angry
I gave her one last kiss
Before I said my goodbyes
I drank up my last drink
I told her she was ugly
And baby she did stink

I said,
Better luck next time
But I am not the one
I can't be your boyfriend
Cause I like having fun
You need to look on elsewhere
A man too blind to see
Better luck next time
Cause baby it's not me
