 JANET'S PLANET

Troubled Souls

rain heavily pouring on troubled souls
chilliness in the air stirring them cold
tormented tossing turning within
loud voices howling of the wind
storms during the night slowly creep
stealing sleep
fears running deep
nightmares frighten causing some to weep
pitiful yesterdays gone by
fleeing to the darkened sky
mourning loss pain and sorrow
dreaming of a better tomorrow
weary and growing old
miserable lives untold
above the horizon sunrise brings
splendid glorious things
fallen leaves orange and gold
another cold day to behold
wondrous beauty unfolds
for lonely desperate troubled souls
