 Erosion

Bad language in the school each day
Being heard as the children play
Sex and violence on the TV screen
Innocent children hear and see
Fill their minds with all this smut
Immerse their lives in all this muck
Morals and values they don't exist
Many temptations they can't resist

Eroding minds of our innocent
Leaving families in discontent
Slowly boiling their lives to death
When will we ever see the end?
Don't give up there's always hope
There is a cure; an antidote
His name is Jesus, our reigning king
It is true freedom that He brings

Erosion causes a slow decay
But love is stronger every day
We need Christ's love to see us through
Just read His Word; it's tried and true
We cannot make it on our own
We all need Jesus to take us home
And with the Father; Holy Ghost
Eternal life we then will boast

Eroding morals; too fast a pace
But Christ is coming; we'll see His face
We need to go and spread the news
The world is ready to hear the truth
Be not afraid for love is strong
We need to share the right from wrong
Christ is the answer to all our prayers
His love is stronger; He truly cares
