Picture perfect

A long table filled the room
One last sweep of the broom

Napkins folded in place
In the china, your face

The silver was shined at last
Now the placing of a wine glass

Dinner is ready, she greeted
One by one they were seated

As each bowed their head
A long winded grace was said

The family waited in their seat
she arose and said” let's eat!”

All the dishes went around
It was quiet, nary a sound

Dinner included what she made
And other dishes in a parade

A wonderful time for all
Later there would be a desert call

Cakes, pies and cookies too
Or what looked like chocolate Goo

Happy ThanksGiving to You
