How I'm feeling today
It seems all that I hold to
Is slipping away
With my mind, my companion
I feel so alone
The winter days are colder
Feeling numb to the bone
I wish I could cling to
The sands in my grasp
Simply to stop the time
That is passing so fast
A smile, perhaps laughter
Is what I long for
To cure a heart so heavy
This soul that is tore
My feet, they are dragging
Across this earth that I roam
As I look up and beg you
