Gifts of God
Love should always be your guide,
When in the Lord you abide;
And eager to get the gift,
Causing your soul to uplift.
That gift comes from His Spirit,
As God gives to inherit;
Might a gift of prophecy,
Giving insight for to see.
Maybe language is your art,
That God lets you to impart;
Ones that others do not know,
But He understands your flow.
But just what good will it do,
A language unknown to you;
It depends if you believe,
And His Spirit you receive.
Prophesying helps the church,
For the answers that you search;
For preaching of the His Word,
For all to let it be heard.
