That Time of YearIt is that time of year, That we are in good cheer; In remembering the birth, On one who came to earth. It only had begun, For the Heavenly Son; To grow up as a man, That was under God's plan. For He had spent His days, With living in the ways; Found in the human race, Through a mother's embrace. We must take it to heart, Why did God ever start; Causing a lot of strife, In time to end a life. It is to give us hope, To be able to cope; What Christmas is about, Chasing away all doubt.
