Decorations of joyful trimmings,
Glisten to the season's greetings,
Stockings are filled with such delight,
As a candle glows with its eternal light.
Joy to the World is proclaimed out loud,
And Goodwill to all is spread in a crowd,
Through endless miles of plea for peace,
In hopes for mankind's battles to cease.
Home is a nest conceived from serenity,
For as we open our door with dignity,
We welcome all to enter and savor,
The taste of life's fruitful flavor.
Each and every blessed day,
Whether near or far away,
Loved ones we hold so dear,
Are remembered with much cheer.
Mistletoes are hung up high,
For the lucky ones who pass by,
Exchanging a gift most precious,
Love, and kisses so scrumptious.
Tis the season for giving,
Rejoice and show gratitude for living,
So let us join together, hand in hand,
and form a circle all so grand!
