Poetic-Verses from ATHANASE
O, My Friend (English)
O My Friend
O my Friend! To live, run, weep and dance,
to laugh and hope in the light
of just one of your springtime glances!
To become melodious brightness, an ethereal song floating
over the crystal lake of your silence!
To be the starry wind, the moon
caressing the night,
the amorous silk of your lashes!
For a brief divine second
one with all eternity!
