Little Girl Lost
~THE SIG BOX~
A little girl just bearly three.
A sweet and precious child was she
She liked to play beauty shop with me.
Painting her little ten finger nails,
and putting her hair in funny ponytails
made her laugh and giggle without fail.
One day quite out of the blue,
we had no clue, baby girl started getting ill.
Little face swelled and became very black and blue.
Night before she left for big scary hospital
we played beauty shop, our last possible chance.
Was time to go view the beauty we did create.
Holding her up to the big mirror,
I didn't mean for her to see the horror
the illness did to her beautiful face.
My heart just broke apart when I realized
that my dear little friend never saw what her
illness started to destroy. I am so very sorry!!
