Created to Praise
Be alert and think straight,
Don't try to hesitate;
For when it comes to God,
Always honor and laud.
Jesus did not think twice,
To be a sacrifice;
So why the second thought,
For choosing as you ought.
A holy life to live,
Not a sinful captive;
As I once was no more,
Tempted by evil lure.
For Christ has come to save,
From the fiery grave;
Cleansing iniquity,
For your eternity.
God created to praise,
And that each one obeys;
All of His Holy Word,
Believing as it's heard.
