An Approved Worker
I will never forget,
In owing such a debt;
That Jesus Christ had paid,
For the mess that I made.
Since I was such a jerk,
The reason I must work;
Much harder for the Lord,
Abiding in His Word.
There is no time to rest,
And do my very best;
Win approval from God,
Of my work to applaud.
It means I must obey,
And molding me like clay;
Run from what may capture,
Enticing my venture.
Never again a crime,
But humble all the time;
Always do what is right,
Given through His insight.
