Lustful Desires
Why do you fight and argue,
Ill-fated games you construe;
Is it not for desires,
That lust has lit the fires.
You think that you have a need,
But it turns out to be greed;
And fighting to take control,
Deep inside within your soul.
The need turns great for the want,
A craving begins to haunt;
As the want is in excess,
For desiring to possess.
The desire can be strong,
To make agony prolong;
Whatever you can and will,
Do anything even kill.
I am going to tell you,
To God be faithful and true;
Not be greedy but be kind,
And He will give peace of mind.
