Skin Deep
We judge others just how they look,
Since appearance is bait and hook;
For a man can never deny,
A pretty girl catches his eye.
The charm and beauty can deceive,
For character that we perceive;
Of having such beauty and grace,
With wearing a mask on their face.
This kind of beauty will not last,
Since it will be fading very fast;
But women who honor the Lord,
They will be treasured and adored.
God judges beauty in the heart,
Everlasting and never part;
When you show God love and respect,
Your beauty He will not neglect.
So always be gentle and kind,
The Lord will beautify your mind;
That will flow down into your heart,
And glowing outward to impart.
