Jesus the Shepherd
I can tell you for sure,
That Jesus is the door;
And He will never sleep,
As the gate for His sheep.
The sheep do not obey,
Another that may say;
Something for to entice,
A trip to paradise.
Just through Him they will go,
To fields where blessings flow;
And through Him they return,
For salvation they earn.
The sheep really rejoice,
Hearing the Shepherd's voice;
Feeling safe and secure,
The Shepherd locks the door.
For they do not have doubt,
The Shepherd keeps sin out;
Because of love and care,
That the Shepherd will share.
