Our Funny Valentine
They are the straws that stir our drink
Mesmerized by eyes when winked
Beautiful unlike no other
Succumb to beauty by kisses smothered
Drop dead gorgeous, cute and funny
Our other halves, we all call honey
Gods gift to man to share his life
Best friend, soul mate, today now wife
Clumsy brute sometimes not feeling
The need to hug, that kiss appealing
The arms that holds them both together
The one for her in storms she weathers
Apart, alone they can't conceive
The miracle someday received
Through love and bouts and sometimes pouts
Baby, blessing who'll run about
This Valentine, remember them
Whose eye you caught when then was when
The hand of God made both of you
To fall in love and say I do
