one day il take my love to top creche burrow hill
where you can see four counties amidst the scene tranquilly n still
il take a horde of children then wel climb up to the mount
wel see the scenic wonders the beauty's we shall count
you can see the streams a flowing through Dorset's pleasant towns
where castles on the hillside and sheep be in the downs
youl see a rocky doorway stretched out to the sea
where wareham mill lays open so rich and pleasantly
there we can lay and frolic upon the grassy down
where butterflies and birdsong always wear a pastel crown
where grass is tall and whistling where breezes come to call
where meadows lay a slumbering and lovers often dawdle all
there on the hill over creech village
where life is slow and pure
the lizards and the grass snakes are all a slithering still
there's sights to catch your breath they say and honey bees that buzz
when i take the stroll up creech burrow with my own true love
