our dorset memories

   those walks on the seashore
      me holding your hand
      that ride on the bus
      wasn't life grand
      the walk in the meadows
      the cob n the corn
      the purbeck views calling
      the birds on mums lawn

      the farmhouse lights flicker
      the candles are lit
      the cuddles at night
watching the boats as they drift
the  pony's each day we sought on the heath
      the Wessex high country
      the green n golden leaves

      the ships on the quayside
      the swans in the bay
fish n chips we ate each Saturday
      the walls down at wareham
those days seem so long away
      the cockles at Poole
      the weymouth shops tour
      the walks that we took
      the waves on the shores

      the church with the steeple
      the riverside walks
      the long nights we spent
      just a hugging n talks
      the friends that we made
      the fun that we had
      just me and you
      lovers in Poole
