early morning dewin the early morning hours before the day is due i think about my love who lives many miles from Poole when the dew is on the grass and the rabbits are at play before the sun is high above on a beautiful spring day i think about her ways and means and her sweet honesty the way she smiles it lights up her eyes she means the world to me though shes overseas i treasure our past moments and memories we share the walks we took upon the heath and the kisses that we shared though the days are flowing past until we meet again when blackbirds sing and sparrows nest and we walk home together once again in the early morning light when small children are just awake i hear the sounds of music played upon the breeze at sea the tides come in and go out free far from mans control n company where heaven blessed us with the dawn and foxes prey for food whilst natures floor is budding free with beauty of its own long gone the winters interlude i think of her and I'm grateful too that Shel soon be coming home whilst ducks they dip and duck in pond and a goldfish darts there too i bless they day that i found her and brought her down to Poole the harbor now is quiet and the grockels are not yet due the market is setting up its stalls and the sun is sparkling on the dew just seven weeks till she flies o'er the seas to come to me thousands of miles from Poole my love blesses the early morn for she loves her cup of tea none can erase those hours we shared and the love we both knew as we remember how it was in the early morning dew Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
