PET PEEVES

One of my pet peeves is driving with a cell phone
My car was rear ended no mercy was going to be shown
The car hit so hard I was lifted in the air
From behind she's talking on a cell phone without a care
I got out and surveyed the damage and it was slight
I looked at the car behind still on the phone I was--tight
Being an ex-medic looking at the woman something not right
Called for an ambulance, three cop cars, firetruck and aid
Later they told me calling 9-11 a right choice I had made
This woman it seems low numbers in a diabetic shock
She hadn't been on that cell phone for just idle talk
Seems company trucks were searching to find her her mind unclear
Good news is Aid truck took her to a hospital that was near
There is a message about diabetics I want to pass on
The numbers are bad they look on drugs or at best inebriated
I'm glad I didn't Judge got help for that much she was elated
She called and said she hadn't ate her numbers were under "32"
She is going to watch diet better in the hospital good as new.
