Doing Right
Our Lord is in control,
Of every living soul;
Determines how rivers flow,
And everything we know.
We think we do the right things,
For the goodness that it brings;
But God knows in our hearts,
Of the plan that it imparts.
Doing what is right and fair,
Will make others well aware;
That you are righteous and good,
Just the same as Jesus would.
Evil people have much pride,
And are arrogant inside;
So sin is their only crop,
Harvesting will never stop.
So reap what is good and right,
That is pleasing to God's sight;
Blessings abundantly more,
Overflowing as they pour.
