In Praise of a Good WifeA truly good wife, A precious treasure; To have in your life, No one can measure. He depends on her, Never lets him down; Problems may occur, But never a frown. She is good to him, Each day of her life; When times very grim, She quiets the strife. The man gives respect, For what she has done; That they can reflect, Together as one. The charm can deceive, Beauty fades away; But faith will achieve, Glamour that will stay. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2008 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
