Funny are my thoughts
Can she feel my heart through my touch
Her cheeks I gently brush
True Beauty I taste through her lips
To her, is this enough to convince
My eyes shut wide open
As she lay in my arms
For I still see this gorgeous creature
It feels so good to breathe her
And soak in her pleasant nature
Marvelling at her features
Those jewels provide energy to my soul
Peacefully she sleeps as I admire
Knowing one of these, again, she'd inspire
In the morning I'm gonna hate to go
Are these feelings mutual I wonder
She was the first, I remember
To agree to No More What Ifs
Though the day never came, so again I ask
Wondering if I'll get the same answer
