The murderous sun hath set behind
the rugged purple mountains,
and the silvery moon has risen
full and bright giving rise to
the darkness of night.
So,awake from thy restless slumber
my sweet lady of the night,
and arise from the dark depths
of thy velvety crypt and stalk
the mavens of the daylight that
thy fierce thirst might be sated.
