The Habit of Selfishness
When you heed selfish desire,
Your heart will be set afire;
Blazing in such an inferno,
Obsessing wherever you go.
It is taking your selfish greed,
And make it look as to a need;
As it will be driving your lust,
For turning it in to a must.
You will be following a maze,
Living in your immoral ways;
With filthy thought and shameful deed,
To satisfy your selfish greed.
No one who does this could care less,
About the love the Lord would bless;
Unconcerned what they inherit,
Coming from the Holy Spirit.
The Sprit of God makes you kind,
In having others on your mind;
And keep the greed under control,
While abiding in your soul.
