Such A Precious Gift_A Seed Sown Today
A gift to my sister in Christ

Today I waited anxiously for the mail to come
To receive a gift of love and seed that she had sown
A gift from a precious poet friend-and new Sister in Christ
A book of inspired poetry I will cherish all my life
 
Dear Doris-there is not even words to convey
The inspiration I felt in your writings today
What a precious seed you have sown for Jesus
May blessings pour out on you for this gift so precious
 
I'm still not finished reading your wonderful writes
For this poem of gratitude I had flowing through my mind
So I decided to take a break to pen this out to you
With hugs and love and above all -thanking Our God too
 
For it is He that puts people in our path
Some are temporary but this friendship will last
We can now be on this poetic life journey together
Uplifting the church in His words-spirit given we gather
 
God bless you dear one I wish you could've seen
The joy that filled my heart when this I received
What a beautiful collection of words sent from above
All compiled by His gift and filled with His love
 
Carry on in this ministry that God has given you
For great rewards will come when your time on earth is through
You have blessed me my Sister in Christ more than I can say
For you are truly on my heartstring and there you will stay!
 
Thank-you again for the blessing I received today!

Today was my Sister's birthday that went to heaven in 1976
See how God is right on time to remind us that He is always
sending gifts our way to brighten what might be a gloomy day!
I want to give him praises for all the precious sisters in my
life now that before this gift of poetry I may have never met.
With the exception of just a few that are lifetime friends as
now each of you!
UPDATE:It's now March 10,2008 you still are blessing me
in so many ways! I praise the Lord that he allowed our pathes
to cross.Together we can minister to the hurt,downtrodden and lost.
I love you dearly! Your new adopted girl_Liny :-) (((Huggies)))
