Falling Short
From Heaven God shows,
How His anger grows,
On sin that we do,
Always in His view.
It's the same story,
Fall short of His glory;
Because all have sinned,
As undisciplined.
We are so uncouth,
In crushing the truth;
Turning a deaf ear,
As to disappear.
Our sin has built,
A brick wall of guilt;
That can not see through,
What is really true.
So as we embark,
We stay in the dark;
Since we are just fools,
Straying from His rules.
