Law and Death
Sin was brought here to earth,
When Adam had disobeyed;
Never had a rebirth,
While through death he paid.
Because of sin we all die,
Though came before the Law;
But since he did defy,
Enticed by what he saw.
So when the Law did come,
The force of sin was seen;
Showing the past the glum,
Of guilt and shame that been.
Death has might over all,
But God allows us live;
Gives for our downfall,
Willingness to forgive.
Sin ruled by means of death,
But Christ can rule your heart;
To go beyond last breath,
For having a new start.
