Common Sense and Wisdom
Treasure what you are taught,
And don't be so distraught;
When things just do not go,
How you want them to flow.
Think of what it all means,
With common sense that cleans;
Wiping away your thoughts,
Of evil and lustful shots.
The Spirit keeps in tune,
Make your wisdom immune;
From desires of lust,
And things that are unjust.
Wisdom comes from the Lord,
For to be one accord;
Along with common sense,
Giving you a defense.
So if you do obey,
The Lord every day;
Your common sense will fight,
For wisdom to be right.
