Angry Godless People
I think that you all would agree,
Godless people are too angry;
They are just too boastful and proud,
And have to be in the in-crowd.
So they die young in a disgrace,
Shame written all over their face;
For all the sin they have to bear,
Not admitting to God in prayer.
Hard times and trouble are God's way,
Getting their attention each day;
But godless people can not see,
That God is sending out His plea.
The plea is God's deep desires,
To turn them away from fires;
For filling their heart up with lust,
And with Him in loosing their trust.
So judgment falls upon their sins,
As the enduring pain begins;
For the warnings they did not see,
That will last for eternity.
