Running to the Goal
I have not reached our goal,
That I got for my soul;
None of us are perfect,
Falling short I predict.
So I will keep running,
Till the awakening;
And can open my eyes,
To take hold of the prize.
What is over is past,
Yesterday does not last;
Leaving those things behind,
And let God clean your mind.
For my goal is Heaven,
And if I'm forgiven;
Then victory is won,
For what Jesus has done.
So I eagerly wait,
When I have reached the gate;
Jesus Christ will embrace,
As we enter His place.
