The Road You Take
You know of the laws,
God made for those flaws;
But you can't obey,
What they do convey.
Always an excuse,
Every abuse;
For to ease your mind,
Of guilt that you find.
You know them by heart,
Yet you will depart;
Taking a detour,
To a distant shore.
Then nothing to fear,
Thinking God not near;
But I raise my voice,
Dealing with your choice.
A blessing or a curse,
You can not reverse;
After your last breath,
Having chosen death.
