Heart Of The Matter

Passed The Test

Photobucket

Reflecting,
On the days events,
Mixed feelings,
Somehow circumvent,
Some happy, sad,
Such is the way,
Excitement too,
Comes into play,

It's good news week,
Yet filled with fear,
How will I cope?
Without you near,
When you are gone,
And far from home,
No daily call,
No telephone.

I take a walk,
Wide open space,
Fear vapourises,
Leaves no trace,
I trust in you,
Your trust in me,
You say I'll cope,
Quite admirably,

It's late at night,
I hear the rain,
I watch you leave,
But don't complain,
I'll hold the fort,
I'll do my best,
You say I'll cope,
I passed the test.
