Merry-Go-Round

The merry-go-round,
It spins and it turns,
The rise and the falling,
It always returns,
The grasping of reins,
The holding on fast,
A quiver of hope,
The rides gonna last,

You dance on the wind,
You streak in the light,
And you gaze up ahead,
Watch a lover take flight,

Eternal emotion,
The lows and the high,
Bid a sweet au revoir,
But never goodbye.
