A Lesson from a Tree
When the tree branches sprout,
The leaves start to come out;
As the birds that you hear,
Telling summer is near.
When you see all these things,
You will know what it brings;
The time will soon arrive,
Only some will survive.
The earth won't always be,
As now the way you see;
And the world will be gone,
But these words will live on.
No one knows just what day,
Or the time I can't say;
Only God knows for sure,
When He will lock the door.
Be alert and prepared,
Remember as declared;
The time is coming soon,
Of no more sun or moon.
