The Joy of Forgiveness
God blesses when forgiven,
Of the sins that had driven;
Causing you to turn away,
And follow the path to stray.
For you can not hide from God,
When sinning and become flawed;
But if willing to confess,
The Lord will forgive and bless.
For the burden of your guilt,
Is from the sin that has built;
A wall that is blocking you,
From His Spirit to get through.
You need to stop your downfall,
And start tearing down that wall;
Through the guilt and shame you share,
With the Lord God who does care.
Throw away all of your lust,
And start building up your trust;
In God who gives a new start,
As His Spirit cleans your heart.
