"I Saw An Elephant Cry"
I Saw An Elephant Cry
They take an Elephant
From his family and his home
That's the last time
He's able to roam
They put him in the circus
And make him do tricks
If he doesn't do what he's told
He'll get his licks
How sad it is
Elephants mate for life
Like us they have children
Also a wife
When I was small
The circus came to town
That's when I saw an Elephant
With a tear coming down
No one realizes
What goes on behind the scene
How the Elephants are treated
So very mean
So please take the circus
Put it where the sun doesn't shine
And take the Elephants home
To spend the remainder of their time.
An animal lover
