The New Agreement
The Law of Moses brought death,
Promising after last breath;
Life is ending as you know,
No where else that you will go.
So the Law was carved in stone,
With having ten that were shown;
Which were given in a way,
Telling you how not to stray.
It made his face shine so bright,
Brilliant as the noon day light;
Not able to see his face,
Being blinded by God's grace.
As the Law was being read,
Everyone covered their head;
Since they felt the guilt and shame,
Of the Law that did proclaim.
With the glory of the Lord,
Now we have in His Word;
His Spirit has set us free,
Through His blood by His decree.
