At my advanced age I can still
shoot a NBA three--yesterday
Climb a three and prune
I won't wine about the limp
The back pain that lasts a day or two
Two friends of mine in high school
finished in state one-two in batting
One went on to hit three hundred Home runs
in the major leagues and diabetes took his legs
The other uses oxygen to breathe
One of my friends was a shot putter
Strong, today he can't turn a light bulb
We all do get old in time
Lord, I thank you for my health today
