Taking My Place
You can never go wrong,
And be glad to belong;
To the Lord our God,
That you honor and laud.
Since Christ has shown the way,
Taught me how not to stray;
Able to see the light,
For giving me insight.
All I do say is true,
What once that held value;
Is now simply worthless,
Since our Lord does bless.
Just the same as a rash,
Or a pile of trash;
Because of my belief,
Discards it for relief.
I just want to know Christ,
And all He sacrificed;
As He still shines His grace,
After taking my place.
