Heart Of The Matter

Nothing To Say

Photobucket

Don't call her, love,
She has nothing to say,
She watched and she listened,
The dog had his day,

He knaws at the bone,
He drools at the marrow,
The words so sincere,
The sentiments shallow,

Don't think her a fool,
Who got caught in the game,
And don't be mistaken,
She still feels the same,

She is older and wiser,
The heart still beats true,
It does not skip a beat,
At the mention of you,

Her passion still burns,
She fights fire with fire,
She needs someone stronger,
To fuel her desire,

You'll still play the game,
At the end of the day,
So don't call her, love,
She has nothing to say.
