Beneath the darkened sky of night
where once was life so full of light
mankind has cried his final tears
and now is lost amidst his fears.
No more the sun in bright blue sky
or a sunset sweet to make him sigh
all is ravaged and turned to dust
they forgot of love and how to trust.
Only darkness now haunts the night
that once had colours so wonderfully bright
and mankind is lost no more to be seen
all is erased from all he has been!
