Poetic Verses Of Love And Sorrow
"The Violinist"
"The Violinist"
I picked up the violin
And started to play
She was in the front row
It was love, right away
Never before
Had I played so well
We each felt the same
From her I could tell
I played my best
Throughout the night
When I looked at her
What a beautiful sight
After the concert
She came back stage
She stared into my eyes
As I signed her page
She had lips of red
And hair of gold
There's no possible way
Her beauty could be told
From that night on
She sat in the front row
And after the concert
Together we would go
That was many years ago
And no longer do I play
I stay home with my front row fan
Every glorious night and wonderful day.
