The Living Stone
Quit trying to fool others,
And start being more sincere;
To your sisters and brothers,
Heeding the words that you hear.
Be like a newborn baby,
Spiritual milk you thirst;
Growing in insight to see,
Venturing in life headfirst.
Be honest and do not lie,
Stop treating life as a joke;
It puts a stain on your eye,
And God's anger will provoke.
Could it be your desire,
As we approach Judgment Day;
Thrown in the lake of fire,
Because your mouth loves to stray.
Come to the Lord Jesus Christ,
He's the living cornerstone;
So no more being enticed,
For the consequences known.
