A Dolphin's Plea

 A Dolphin's Plea

I play upon the waves of the sea
So beautiful my earth's domain
Freedom calls beyond the depths
Again to soar in flight
Released I now fly
To play with stars
My heart free
To God's
Call

Stars
Touch me
With their rays
As I jump to the sky
I breath the fresh wind
Contained joy now set free
The sea again calls my name
The ballet of life freely danced
As I glide beneath the ocean's depths

I dance the dance of freedom's calling
... Until a net may take my life ...
Who will sing my joyous song
When I am no longer
I beg of you now
To hear my plea
In your hands
Is my
Life

I
Ask you
To conserve
What has always
Been my gift to you
I could one day be gone
To you and to all mankind
Who then will sing to your children ...

The quietness of a grieving sea?
