"The Ailing Man"
The doctor walked in to the room
And told the ailing man
Your time on earth won't be too long
Yet, we'll do everything we can
The man didn't seemed to be worried
As he shook the physicians hand
He said "I've a great healer, up above
My infirmities, He'll understand"
While the man lay in his bed
Reading his Bible, he prayed
"Oh Lord, you know I am not very well
And this tired old body is frayed"
"If it be in your will Lord
And, on earth you want me to stay
Heal my body, refresh my soul
Make me stronger. . . Day by day"
This man prayed a prayer of faith
God had heard his, every plea
Healing the man as a "Witness"
His power, was for all to see
When we learn to place our trust
In God . . . For our everything
Healing is just one benefit
Amongst many, that it can bring!
